Companion Animal Hospital
Our Mission
Companion Animal Hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care that keeps your animal-family happy and healthy for as long as possible. We prioritize your pet’s well-being by offering honest, commission-free choices tailored to your family's needs.
A History of Compassion
Since 1996, our family-owned clinic has served as a cornerstone of the Madison veterinary community. Beyond our clinical work, our staff is deeply passionate about animal welfare, having successfully rescued, socialized, and rehomed over 1,100 cats and kittens.
How We Support Rescue
Our commitment to animals extends far beyond our lobby walls. Dr. Pagel, a former board member for local rescues like Angel’s Wish and the Dane County Humane Society, continues to champion animal welfare through partnerships with organizations such as Starfish Animal Rescue, the Madison Cat Project, and Fisher Valley Felines. We also proudly support exotic animal care through volunteer efforts at the Valley of the Kings sanctuary.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
We believe in the joy of adoption and are proud to help connect local pets with their forever families. By working closely with dedicated rescue organizations, we help ensure that every kitten and cat finds a loving home. We invite you to be part of these success stories and help us continue our tradition of rehoming animals in need.
