Marshfield Area Pet Shelter
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: we pledge that every adoptable animal will be given the opportunity to find a loving home. We are a community resource dedicated to enriching the lives of animals in need and improving the bond between people and pets.
Our Story
Founded in 2011 by a small group of concerned citizens in Marshfield, Wisconsin, our organization was built on the belief that our animals deserve a higher quality of care. After years of community advocacy and tireless fundraising, we successfully opened our state-of-the-art facility at 3500 Downwind Drive in 2020.
How We Help
As a private non-profit, we rely on the generosity of our community and the dedication of over 60 volunteers to provide care for more than 700 animals annually. Our facility operates on a Capacity for Care model, ensuring that each animal receives the medical and behavioral support they need. We are proud to be a lifesaving organization, where every intake is treated with compassion and given the time they need to find their perfect match.
Your Adoption Journey
Adoption is an act of love, and we are committed to working with you to find the right companion for your lifestyle. We operate by appointment to ensure every adopter receives dedicated, personal attention during their visit. By getting to know you and your preferences, we help foster lifelong, successful partnerships between pets and their new families.
