Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter
Our Mission
The Carl W. Nelson Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate space for abandoned, abused, and neglected animals while working to place them into responsible, loving homes. We believe that every animal deserves dignity, care, and a second chance.
Serving Our Community
We are committed to protecting, caring for, and rehoming cats and dogs in need throughout Juneau County and the surrounding communities. By focusing on these local needs, we ensure that animals in our area receive the vital support they require to thrive while they wait for their forever families.
How We Help
Our work goes far beyond the shelter walls. We provide lifesaving shelter care and facilitate adoptions, while also engaging in community education and partnerships to improve the lives of both animals and the people who love them.
Your Role in Their Journey
Adoption is a joyful partnership that transforms lives, and we are here to help you find your perfect companion. By choosing to adopt, you become a vital part of our mission to give every animal the bright, happy future they truly deserve.
