Orphan Animal Rescue & Sanctuary (OARS) is dedicated to rescuing homeless cats and kittens, providing them with compassion, love, and the highest quality of care as they await their forever families. We are on a mission to change lives, one cat at a time, by giving these animals a second chance at happiness.
Our Story
Founded in 2008 by six animal lovers, OARS was born from a clear need within the Fox Cities community to save homeless felines. As a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we work tirelessly toward a future in which no more cats in Wisconsin are left without a home.
A Different Kind of Care
We believe all cats deserve to be treated with kindness and respect in a supportive environment. Our rescue consists of a small network of foster care homes alongside our unique, cage-free Adoption Center in Neenah, Wisconsin. At our center, cats enjoy a natural, home-like setting featuring sunny napping spots and views of bird feeders, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable while they wait for their perfect match.
