Welcome to the Clark County Humane Society (CCHS), where we proudly serve as the Premier No-Kill Shelter in Central Wisconsin! Located in Neillsville, Wisconsin, our dedicated non-profit organization is committed to providing the utmost care for cats and dogs in need.
As a vibrant community of over 5,500 members, our mission revolves around assisting lost, surrendered, unwanted, and unloved pets. We treat every animal as if they were our own cherished companions, actively working to reunite them with their owners or find them loving forever homes.
At CCHS, we value humane education and strive to reduce pet overpopulation through our FixaPet Spay/Neuter Program. This initiative has significantly contributed to our success, with over 35,400 surgeries performed. We also provide essential low-cost wellness services to ensure all pets live healthy lives.
We invite potential adopters to explore our shelter during open hours, Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12 PM to 3 PM. Our facility is always home to a wide variety of friendly, clean, and well-cared-for pets eager to join your family. Our Adoption Committee reviews applications to ensure lasting matches and responds within 24-48 hours.
As a testament to our credibility, we are thoroughly inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health (DATCP). Our shelter operates under a no-kill policy, ensuring that we exhaust all options in helping animals find loving homes while alleviating animal suffering whenever possible. We genuinely care about animals and invite you to be a part of our mission!
If you're interested in getting involved, we welcome volunteers and donations. Your support can make a tremendous difference in the lives of these animals. Together, let's create a loving community for pets and their forever homes at CCHS!
