Catkins Animal Rescue, Inc
Our Mission
Catkins Animal Rescue, Inc. is a dedicated no-kill, nonprofit organization committed to providing compassionate care, rehabilitation, and socialization for animals in need throughout the Northwoods region. We strive to improve the quality of life for every animal that comes through our doors, ensuring they have a safe and loving environment while they wait for their forever homes.
Our History and Community Impact
As the only animal rescue within Price County, we serve as a vital resource for animals from local families, area shelters, and animal control facilities. We are currently in the midst of an exciting period of growth as we build our new, expanded shelter facility. This project, which has been three years in the making, represents our community's commitment to creating a permanent, enhanced home for the animals we serve.
How We Care
We believe in a holistic approach to animal welfare, offering medical care, emotional support, and essential services like pet safety education and trap, neuter, and return programs. While we operate a shelter, we also rely on a wonderful network of foster volunteers who open their homes to kittens, puppies, and senior dogs, providing them with the one-on-one attention they need to thrive. Our dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure every animal is ready for their next chapter.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Adoption is a joyful journey, and we take pride in facilitating thoughtful, successful pairings between our rescued animals and their new families. Whether you are looking for a playful kitten or a seasoned companion dog, our team is here to support you through the process, ensuring that you find a pet that fits your home and lifestyle perfectly.
