Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter is dedicated to protecting animals from suffering and cruelty, ensuring a brighter tomorrow for every pet that enters our care. We focus on enhancing the lives of our animals and our community through education, compassion, and the pursuit of forever homes.
Established in April 2010 and opening our doors in 2011, we were founded on the belief that every animal deserves a loving, stable environment. As a private, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of our supporters to fulfill our mission, as we receive no federal, state, or county government funding.
We are proud to operate as a no-kill shelter, meaning we do not euthanize for space and place no time limits on our adoptable pets. Our facility features four outdoor play yards totaling 25,000 square feet for our dogs, and comfortable, engaging spaces for our feline residents. While we care for as many animals as our capacity allows, we also work closely with local veterinarians and rescue groups to ensure every animal receives proper vaccinations, medical treatment, and social enrichment.
We believe that adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to working closely with potential adopters to find the best possible match for your home. By taking the time to understand both the pet and the prospective owner, we help create lasting bonds that enrich lives for years to come. We encourage interested families to review our current adoptable pets and follow our application process to begin this rewarding journey.
