Our organization has established partnerships with several municipalities, allowing us to expand our reach and help animals across Watertown and nearby areas. We provide vital services that include shelter care, veterinary assistance, and educational programs aimed at promoting responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. The WHS team consists of dedicated professionals and passionate volunteers who are the backbone of our operations. Our staff, led by Executive Director Heather VanDam, is committed to implementing safe and progressive shelter practices that improve the lives of every single animal we encounter. From our knowledgeable Animal Care staff to our compassionate Adoption Counselors, each member plays a crucial role in ensuring that every animal receives the love and care they deserve.
