Feline Friends (Feline/Canine Friends, Inc)
Our Mission
Feline/Canine Friends, Inc. is dedicated to providing compassionate care and finding loving, permanent homes for cats in need. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at a happy, healthy life.
Our History
Our journey began in 1989, when retired school teacher Marie Valentino founded our organization to provide a safe haven for unwanted pets, with a special emphasis on those with special needs. Starting in Grand Marsh, Wisconsin, our organization has grown significantly over the decades to better serve our community.
A Dedicated Sanctuary
Today, we operate a sanctuary in Grand Marsh for our special-needs and non-adoptable residents, alongside a large, modern facility in Westfield, WI, built in 2014 to expand our rescue efforts. We are proud to partner with the Petco in Plover, WI, which has been instrumental in helping us find forever homes for over 200 cats each year.
Comprehensive Care
We believe in setting our animals up for success through high-quality care. Every cat in our program receives medical attention from board-certified veterinarians, including spay/neuter services, essential vaccinations, parasite control, and microchipping, ensuring they are ready to become a cherished member of your family.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We strive to make the adoption process a thoughtful, joyful experience for both our cats and their new families. After you reach out to us, a dedicated volunteer will guide you through our application process and help arrange a meeting, ensuring a perfect, lasting match. We are excited to help you find your newest companion and welcome you to the Feline/Canine Friends family.
