Touched By A Paw Inc
Our Mission
Touched By A Paw is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and sheltering of stray, neglected, and abused cats. We serve as a ministry to people by helping cats, teaching compassion and love through these special companions.
Our Story
Founded in Whitewater, Wisconsin, our journey began with a commitment to giving vulnerable cats a second chance at a happy life. We operate as a no-kill facility, sustained entirely by the kindness of donors and the hard work of our dedicated volunteers.
How We Help
Located in the back of a vintage clothing boutique, our shelter provides a safe, nurturing environment for cats while they await their forever families. We are strictly focused on the care of stray and neglected cats, and we keep every rescue until they find the perfect home. We do not receive government funding, relying instead on our community to keep our mission going.
Your Role in Their Journey
Adoption is a wonderful partnership that brings joy to both the human and the cat. We believe in thoughtful matching, and our volunteers are here to help you navigate the process of finding a feline friend who fits your life. Whether you are looking for a single companion or considering the many benefits of adopting a pair, we are here to support you.
Visit Us
We invite you to come meet our current residents and see the difference a little love can make. We are open to the public on Saturdays from Noon to 4:00 PM at 182 W. Main Street in Whitewater, and we are also available by appointment during the week.
