St. Francis Animal Shelter

Welcome to St. Francis Animal Shelter, a dedicated non-profit organization founded in January 1997. Our mission is clear: to end the euthanasia of companion animals in Wyoming through collaboration, education, and compassion. As a NO KILL shelter, we provide loving care for over 600 animals each year, ensuring that each one is cared for until they are reclaimed by their owners or adopted into qualified homes. With a focus on responsible pet ownership, we offer a variety of essential services, including low-cost vaccinations, microchipping, and spay & neuter clinics. At St. Francis, we believe that every animal deserves a second chance. Our comprehensive health assessments for all adoptable pets include microchipping, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering, aiding in their successful rehoming. We also recognize the importance of community outreach. Our Extra Help Program, sponsored by Petco, assists Johnson County residents with spay/neuter, vaccinations, and other medical care for pets in need. We invite you to get involved! It costs approximately $20.68 to care for one pet for a single day, and your contributions go directly to providing food and care for the animals that rely on us.
