Established over 50 years ago, we are proud to be Wyoming's largest community-centered animal shelter, committed to providing every homeless or displaced pet with a safe haven and the opportunity for a second chance. At CAS, we recognize that the bond between humans and animals is one of life's greatest gifts. With a state-of-the-art facility spanning 21,000 square feet on over 9 acres, we can accommodate thousands of animals each year. Our shelter features a full-service veterinary clinic and welcoming public spaces designed for potential adopters to connect with our adoptable pets in an inviting environment. Our deep-rooted community partnerships extend back to our beginnings. Collaborating with local governments, we provide essential care for animals under local ordinances, ensuring public safety while also enhancing the lives of animals that have faced abuse, neglect, or abandonment. In addition to our extensive adoption programs, we offer vital community services, including rehoming assistance, end-of-life care, a free pet food program, and low-cost vaccine and spay clinics. These initiatives not only help animals but also bridge gaps for many individuals and families in our neighborhood. Our organization prides itself on being one of the largest nonprofit employers in the area, providing over 30 full-time positions with competitive pay and benefits.
