Park County Animal Shelter

Welcome to the Park County Animal Shelter (PCAS), a place where love, compassion, and commitment come together to create a safe haven for animals in need. Established in August 1990, and operating as a registered Wyoming nonprofit, we have been serving the greater Cody and Park County areas since 1996. Our shelter is a no-kill facility dedicated to offering a safe refuge for abandoned, stray, abused, neglected, and relinquished animals. Our mission is to exceed the needs of our community through engagement-based practices. We strive to honor the human-animal bond by promoting pet retention and providing resource-based interventions. By collaborating closely with community stakeholders, we aim to foster a compassionate community and promote lifesaving initiatives. At PCAS, we believe in the importance of preserving life and ensuring quality existence for all companion animals under our care.
